Winter Weather

Riding our bikes to English class on Saturdays and to church on Sundays is getting interesting now that the daytime temperatures are between 20-30 degrees Fahrenheit. This past Sunday was in the low 20's when we set out, and felt even colder on the way home!
Our church is located in a somewhat rural area of the city.
Travelling there by bike takes around 25-30 minutes, but to get there by subway
would take over an hour with a lengthy walk from the station to the church. So,
we will continue to bike as long as possible.

We also sang some familiar hymns including “O Come, O Come,
Emmanuel,” "Joy to the World," and “I Know Whom I Have Believed.”
Though there is no national holiday for Christmas in China, we noticed in the bulletin that there will be a Christmas Eve service and two services on Christmas Day. This will certainly help to make the holiday more festive!

Quite pretty and a nice reminder in the midst of so many changes. For me I think I would love the music best of all.
